Our commitments
Our safety commitments in chemical handling and storage
We place the health and safety of our employees, business partners and visitors above operational targets. We adopt a preventive health and safety culture with the goal of zero workplace accidents and occupational illnesses.
We address risk assessments, appropriate protective measures and employee training together across chemical handling, storage, filling and dispatch. We aim to strengthen safe working conditions through employee participation and continual improvement.
- 01
Preventive risk management
We identify hazards that could lead to workplace accidents or occupational illness, update risk assessments as working conditions change and reduce risks at their source.
- 02
Safe handling and protective measures
We adopt working methods suited to chemical properties and safety data sheets, and support collective safeguards and task-appropriate personal protective equipment.
- 03
Training and employee participation
We maintain training on chemical handling, fire and emergencies, and encourage employees to contribute to safety through hazard and near-miss reporting.
- 04
Emergency preparedness
We keep emergency plans current, define roles and responsibilities clearly and improve response readiness through regular drills.
- 05
Review and continual improvement
We periodically review health and safety practices against applicable requirements, address identified gaps and continually improve safety performance.
